This design-build project was commissioned by Cluid Housing Association and was completed in 2008.

This 1/3 acre site contained an inner city builder’s yard, four protected structures on the street frontage and a four-storey brick mill located in the centre of the site. The design was developed in close consultation with the local planning authority.

Through conversion and remodelling of the existing buildings and a considered insertion of four new blocks into the cleared site, four private residential courtyards have been created to accommodate 23 apartments and offices for Cluid Housing Association in what is a high-density yet light-filled inner city scheme.
